Will & Co has been providing a very extensive portfolio of chemical raw materials for almost a century. Consider, for example, basic chemicals for water treatment, high-quality pharmaceutical intermediates, and cleaning agents.

Our long-developed technical knowledge enables us to find the right solutions for our customers, together with our suppliers. We have a team of specialists for every market segment, enabling us to always offer the best product for you. We can supply the following products, among others, TamiSolve NxGTM (non-reprotoxic NMP and NEP replacement), 1,4-butanediol, tetrahydrofuran, gamma-butyrolactone, Fe- and Mg-salts and sulfamic acid.

Product Groups

Water treatment

We supply ferrous chloride products (FeCl3 and FeCl2) and chloride products containing iron from our partner Sidra Wasserchemie (Germany) for optimum flocculation in dewatering sludge in water treatment facilities.


Our sulfamic acid (CAS 5329-14-6) from Bao Ming is widely used as a decalcification agent for, among others heaters and boilers. In addition, it is an important ingredient for aqueous surface cleaners and the removal of cement residues.


The active ingredients in agrochemicals are generally difficult to dissolve in aqueous media. That is why we offer solvents such as gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) to complete your agrochemical composition. On the other hand, we can supply solvents such as tetrahydrofuran (THF) (CAS 109-99-9) for the production of the active ingredients.

Pharmaceutical products

Many medicines are produced in a step-by-step synthetic process from readily available raw materials. These processes are typically conducted under anhydrous conditions and require a solvent as a processing aid. For this application, we offer products such as tetrahydrofuran (THF), N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) (CAS 872-50-4) and Cyrene™ (CAS 53716-82-8).


Vitamins are produced by synthesis or fermentation. For the synthesis of certain vitamins, we offer the gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) building block to start multi-step synthesis.

PU/coating resins

Typical polymers used for PU/coating resins are polyester polyols, which are produced from diacids and diols. An important diol in this area is our 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BDO) (CAS 110-63-4) that acts as a chain extender in PU systems while offering a good balance between hardness and low-temperature flexibility.

Cleaning industry

The cleaning industry is highly dependent on the use of solvents for removing stubborn stains and residues. However, many of these products have a terrible toxicity profile. We offer a wide range of safe alternatives with a very high solvency capacity, such as Tamisolve™ NxG (CAS 3470-98-2), biobased lactate esters and Cyrene™.


Tetrahydrofuran (THF) (CAS 109-99-9 ) is a solvent which is used in many pharmaceutical and industrial applications. It is a medium-polar solvent which is relatively miscible with water. It is popular in pharma for many reactions used in the production of drugs/API’s. This mainly stems from its ability to form stable complexes with boranes, lithium ions and magnesium ions, making it the solvent of choice in Grignard reactions, lithiation and hydroborations. Under oxygen, THF is known to form peroxides; for this reason, most THF is stabilized by BHT, which acts as an anti-oxidant/radical scavenger. Next to its use as a solvent, it is also the starting material/monomer for PTMEG (Poly Tetra Methylene Ether Glycol). This poly-THF is often used in elastomers and urethanes.
